That's what I was thinking. I was expecting to see something at least a little different due to all the producer talk in interviews and blogs. Even though it is EA, I'm still surprised anyway.

Looks similar except for the dribbling. That crouched, maniacal (SP?) seems to be gone. I need to see more than that, but it looks like they have a bit to go here to catch up.

Graphics look pretty nice. Animation seems better but still not close to the other game. Its still really early so they have a long way to go but, I don't understand why they released these now if the game didn't look incredible or at least on par with the other game.

I actually like it.

I am one of the "rare few"...someone who actually bought LIVE 07 on the 360.

The vids there look a lot better in terms of game pace, rebounding looks better (rebounders floated last year...even landing several feet out of bounds)...and I like where Marion takes the ORB, pump fakes, sees there's nothing on and then hits his spot up shooter. In LIVE 07 he'd of just dunked over 3 defenders regardless of who was in front of him.

I've been playing a bit of March Madness and these vids look more like that game...

Still a long, long way behind 2K though.

Two good games would be ideal...so I hope they keep improving.

With EA though...their BS ability is supreme. I want a demo released this year + a tonne of videos before I'll believe anything they say...

Not that impressed but looking like it could be playable by the time it's released. The game still looks a bit "floaty". Love those unrealistic, flaring uniform shorts. Thanks EA. Lol

Me personally I am not impressed. I promise you the 2K team are getting a chuckle right now. I've been a Live guy for years but 2K has it right in my opinion. Grant it that it is an early build, but it looks to much like Live 07. I would have never showed this bit of info. Hope it changes in the future but I really doubt it. Scrap that engine, it's just not working especially with 2K putting out a far superior product. Peace!!!

Looks like EA is putting out more crap, trying to make a dollar. Once again it's all hyped up by "words" in the EA producer blog. I can't believe they even sell any copies. This is way too easy for 2k. 2ksports is light-years ahead with NBA 2k.

EA is making me angry, Live should be better than this by now....maybe if they get off the Football balls...They can put some real efforts into the Basketball games....No reason for this year 3 of NBA trash.

I've been waiting since Live 05 on Xbox. For EA to make a good game..but it seems their efforts are worse by the season.

These videos are horrible and crappy. Not impressed.

Not impressed at all.

I jumped on the 2k train last year and I'm playing NBA 2K7 to death after spending my life on Live. These videos look too similar to last year game. I especially don't like the pump fake and rebound animations, very unrealistic compared to the "other side".

I expected a lot more this year, even if we are still on june. Not to mention we still haven't seen 2k8 stuff.
