Nba Live and March madness? I dont get it

Are you working on ANYTHING similar to the NCAA-Madden relationship of draft classes?

This is something that we have talked about quit a bit the last couple of years, but so far we have not implemented. One of the problems is that unlike the NCAA Football-Madden situation, March Madness ships several months after NBA LIVE. That means that we would have to make NBA LIVE 08 work with NCAA March Madness 07 rosters. By the time that NBA LIVE 08 ships, March Madness 07 has been out for 9 months already. The Madness audience is already gearing up for their 08 game by then which is one of the reasons we haven't done it yet. It is something that we talk about every year on LIVE so I'll put it to you guys. What do you think? Would you want it in NBA LIVE 08 if it meant it would only work with March Madness 07?

I think my memory is bad but I thought that they did that few years back but I am probably wrong.

not to mention there are people who play full seasons. I could understand if Madden came out a month or 2 before NCAA and it was a problem, because it's so quick to finish a 16 game season... but an 82 game season? by the time you finish your march madness season (30 games or so) even with Live out 1 to 2 months before the game... you still won't be finished with your 82 game NBA season.

It is a cop out... March Madness is horrid anyway

How about they release March Madness earlier?

By the time March MAdness drops I don't care because I am playing Choops2k.

Not just me either. Choops sold more than March Madness.

College Hoops was a better game, and came out much earlier...

EA is messing up this series with half stepping the competition...

Eventually people will stop buying MM because of the delays and late releasing...not to mention, not adding a simple feature like transferring seniors to Live is just lame and lazy....

For the Playstation 3 I believe. Or maybe it was released late because of some issue. Might have been CH 2K6 that I'm thinking about though. Why did they stop doing that importing for Live anyway? I'm curious to know who's idea that was to stop the importing. One of the reasons why I'm not a fan of MM/Live. Can't extend the playability. Heck, they could have put the 2007 game as an import. They didn't try a darn thing. Falling behind the curve. When does the NBA license run out anyway?
