Some exciting news is coming this week

According to nbalive08.com EA is planning on releasing some exciting news about Live 08. They didn't really hint as to what it could possibly be but I'm thinking it will be some type of contest or maybe a change in the release date.

an early release would be great. but when? If it was at stores this week I would pick it up without question. Once 2k comes out I'll have the ability to wait....

Well, I wouldn't be happy if they released it sooner, because I plan on getting 2K8 first. If Live is out, then I probably won't be able to hold out, and I will have to wait until later to get 2K.

You could always just rent live the week it comes out and keep it until the release of 2K8.

I don't get how changing the release of the game would be of any significance. At best, it would be like one week, but that's a pretty short change.

Not saying it's a bad thing though.

i wish theyd release ncaa football a week early. I wated for that game all summer. Ive been waiting quite a while for this since the hawks have a new look and the demo came out.

I'll go ahead and call my shot right here....in response to 2k moving 2k8's ship date to Oct 1 to be in stores on Live's street date the 2nd, EA will move the street date to Monday , Oct 1st..There is ZERO chance that Live will be moved to Sept. 25th ...EA wants no part of Halo 3, the proved that when they moved Fifa 08 back shortly after Bungie announced their date
