Please advice on this setting to display the player names as the player names go away in the middle of the game and never re-appear.

had no loading problems at ALL until I changed from auto-save to no auto save and loaded a game.

it now takes forever to load a game even after switching back to auto-saves.


I had no problems even when making many roster edits and slider changes until that moment.

I was the Pacers playing at the Wizards, but the crowd seemed to chant "GO WARRIORS GO". Can someone load up a game at Washington to see if I'm hearing correctly?

Got the game yesterday, first and only game thus far was me as the Wiz hosting the Celtics, and i noticed that too LOL.

At least it definately sounded like "Go Warriors, Go"....can't think of what else they would've been chanting based on what i heard.

I'm beguinning to experience the long load times this is unexceptable when Fifa 08 nhl 08 load so much quicker?!?!

I was having no problems with this game, until this morning. I changed some sliders and put in some new playbooks for every team, changed the quarters from 5 minutes to 7 minutes and now EVERY load screen is taking forever to load. Especially the trivia screen. Its taking nearly 5 minutes to load the game now. What makes me angrier is that I figured the delay had something to do with a possible glitch in changing sliders or playbooks, or maybe even the quarter length. So I ereased my entire profile to see if that would fix the problem. Nope, didn't work. New profile default settings and the game still has a delayed load. Techincially its no different now than it was last week or this morning, when it was working fine. Whats the deal with this? Anyone heard on whether this will be addressed. It almost makes the game impossible to play, I'm not waiting 5 minutes for a next generation game to load. You can call me impatient, or whatever you want. I didn't pay $64.95 for this to happen out of nowhere.

This game does seem have a freezing glitch like a few of you have said. The freezing im experiencing seems random as I have had my game freeze while selecting a player for the practice arena, a freeze after jumping into the 4th quarter of a dynasty game, and a freeze in the middle of a game I started playing from the beginning. EA better release a patch for this BS otherwise I will be trading this in for 2K8.

where the hell is the EA GUY. I would like answer to this question. Why in the hell would you not allow us to edit players gear. EA that the only thing you really had over 2k for years. Please let me know if this is going to fixed or not?

This is actaully a game killer to alot of people alot of live players acutally spend hours at a time getting the players look right shoes and other gear.

In regards to the loading time issue. I returned my original copy of Live 08 just in case there may be some kind of disk issue. Its not. New copy still long loading time at trivia questions. Now I have a buddy who we purchased our copies at the same time, same day same store, and he has never answered any of the questions and he says he hasn't seen the loading time issue.
Now a few days ago someone posted they thought there might be a cache issue with the achievement for answering the trivia questions. I'm not that technically savy when it comes to computers or the xbox360. Is there any way to clear your achievements. I love the game. Alot. But this loading issue is killing the mood its like I'm waiting for the game to die. My 360 is only about 8 months old so I don't think its going for the red rings of death because prior to this I have had no problems.

HELP FELLA's or EA get a patch out.

I'm glad you mentioned the trivia achievment. Now that I think about it, it could be that my game started with the long delays when I got that achievement. I can't say for sure though, because I had also just changed sliders and playbooks and after that, combined with getting the trivia achievement, was the first time the game was taking a few minutes to load, thats how I came to answer all the questions. I tried clearing my cache that didn't help. I don't know how to clear an acheivement, or if it can even be done.

Are you also expereiencing delays with your other menus? I'm getting about a 20 second load time to enter the practice gym too. Plus when I'm selecting a different player to shoot around with, theres about a 10 second delay before the character chages. So by the time the "go to moves" movie pops up, I'm still the character that I was before I changed. It changes midway into the movie.

I called EA support the other day and they're the ones who told me to clear the cache. The rep I spoke to also mentioned that I was the first person who he had spoken to that was having this issue. I think they need to come up with a patch for this. While its not a game killer (in my opinion) it definately makes it easier to pop in 2K8. Yesterday I answerd close to 30 trivia questions before the game started.

I haven't really done the practice options to much. But when I go to edit jersey #'s and the sort there is a delay there. But that doesn't really surprise me. But the 5 minute delay before starting a game can be painful.. Its like your sitting there wondering if its going to freeze, is it froze, is my Xbox360 dieing, it kills the experience. I hadn't really gave 2k athouhgt until this issue krept up. Hopefully they will fix it.

Can anyone confirm if you do not answer any trivia questions will the game load normal.

I have not answered any of the triva questions and have long long long load times. The long load times came after I started customizing the sliders and adjusting the rosters.
