Jump shot in NBA Live 2003 PS2

Is it just me or does the jump shot animation in this game not look/feel right? I find it very difficult to determine when to release my shot. This may be partly due to the speed of the game, but it just looks weird the way the ball leaves the players hands. Anyone else with the PS2 version notice this?

I donot like nba live 2003 but i do think it has the best jump shoot animation i have ever seen

The best jump shot animation you have ever seen!?!?!? Which version? Ps2, PC or Xbox? I prefer ID 2003 to Live 2003. I will be getting NBA 2k3 when it eventually and finally gets released here in Australia on the 28th of March.

i also think the jumpers look sweet. They are so smooth, it's just pure. NBA2K3 on the other hand, has some ugly looking J's, IMO.
