I've played 3 games so far and it was actually pretty fun. It's just something totally different. I can see were it could be no fun at all. In one game some dude kept jacking shots with Raja Bell all game, but me (Steve NAsh) stopped giving him looks. But I can also see how it could REALLY be a great time if you got 4 other guys that you know or game with. One some one game we had all 5 guys communicating and calling out defensive math-ups and for open looks on the wing. It was quite fun. Nothing like i've ever played before online in a sports game (NBA Live/2K - 2003 to 2008). It's to have an option to play the game an entirely different way.

im getting a ps3 soon in liek a couple weeks and this is a feature im really intrested in

Can 2-5 human players play against the CPU?

Does the matchup have to be even? I mean, can it be 4 agaist 2 or would it have to be 3 against 3.

like i said give me 4 other warrior fans and we all decide on who we wanna be and we agree to play our roles and i guarntee you we will run ANYONE.

Hell to the yeah brother... This feature sounds pretty sweet. Hopefully, if you all have the time in the next 10 days while I'm off, and I can get my 360 hooked back up to the net... we'll try this baby out.

I'm actually in the minority that actually really likes Live this year. So this is just a plus.

What are the controls off the ball, on offense?

Does the "take a charge" button become the "set a screen" button?

It is only on PS3 at the moment. We are waiting for Microsoft to approve the one for that.

To be frank OTP sounds like a gimmick...Its hard enough to find ONE person who is worth playing online...What makes any of us think 10 different players on the same team could cohabitate???...I don't see it happening

EA should spend more time fixing the game and all its problems as opposed to giving us these half done gimmicks. The reality is not very many people are gonna play any game outside of shooters in a team mode.

AS a supporter and consumer of EA sports products I've literally grown tired of their lackluster games and mediocrity in producing games that have nothng more than purty graphics (next gen) ...After you get over the beautiful player models their games have VERY LITTLE SUBSTANCE. Sure LIVE was improved this year but seeing the complete and utter GARBAGE it was in previous years doesn't say too much about how it truly simulates hoops. Its a fun game if you could care less about defense and just want to run and gun up and down the court with very little defensive resistance.

I liken/compare EA to the videogame equivalent of McDonalds...Safe, predictable and non-innovative. EA doesn't focus on the hardcore consumers...They want everyone to be able to pick their games up and play them from age 3 to age 93...Why change the formula when it works so well???...Anyone care for a McRib sandwhich???(Yuck...I'll pass on that one.). EA destroyed Football with Madden and thank goodness EA didn't get the NBA license because that would be a sports videogame death sentence for consumers.

And all this from a10-15 year EA sports consumer who has supported, bought, played and enjoyed the majority of their games...But IMO next gen has been a complete and utter disappointment...The EA sales won't show it because LIKE SHEEP we all will go out and buy their garbage next year...See ya at Gamestop for Madden and NBA LIVE 09!!!!!!

Well have you tried it? I think EA finally came through on something. It's great fun, and I know that when it comes out for 360, it will attract way more people than the PS3 version. But the mode is sick!
