This is pretty low quality, but for right now just wanted to up it. not at all a measure of the full edit but at least something to show that i am on the verge of the final edit for NBA Live 08


P.S check for the Josh Smith dunk...the commentary's right on cue too!

P.S check for the Josh Smith dunk...the commentary's right on cue too!

Only problem I'm seeing is, its too slow moving up the court for a NBA game.

Other than than the animations are nice.

yeah it's true actually very. One of the sacrifices we face or i face at least within my edit is the fact that transition basketball isn't animated well. proving pared's point of the animations just not being there. i take one thing away to calm the effect of another only to be left with very little of something that wasn't there to begin with that in fact looks more noticebale since it's now not being animated anymore... LOL LONG SENTENCE but you get my point hopefully.

I could also say that my own way of gameplay wasn't fast break up and down though so if played thatw ay maybe it'd be more noticebale as i get pretty cool fast breaks and different speeds coming up depending on what players bringing it up.

One things for sure i give you credit for doing the march madness edit because THAT game is not user friendly to edit. Its one of the reasons I'm sticking with nba live as my main edit thing because of the luxurous editing capabilty being global.

i DO have a greta slider set and camera/audio setting for march madness but i'm holding off til i finsh nba live 08 for everyone...which will also have new players created rosters and playbooks updated

it looks better then out of the box, i just hate that "light out" effect in all the arenas this year in live.

Live is fun to play but i can't stand how the pg(mostly) or sg will try to force there self to the basket. Thats the only thing i don't like. Im been using playmakers edits i have yet to try yours. But is this a problem with yours to? By looking at the video i see some of it on a couple plays. Got any tips on plays D? Seems like D is not in this game to me. But its still fun to play

My points guard go in but they don't shoot. i've stop them from wanting to shoot. However the problem with the pg is within the team playbooks. some playbooks HAVE the pg going in and that's why you see it. So i guess thats the name of the game

They really have to find a way to get this game to run a 60FPS next year with the proper arena lighting. It doesn't make any sense to have all the arenas 'pitch black' from the 3rd row all the way up to the rafters. It takes soo much away from the atmosphere IMO.

Also, the ball to rim physics are horrible. Hopefully, Beluba brings over much better rim/ball interaction for this year. One of the things that I love about Live is the court size and the player spacing, it's much better than the 2k series IMO.

Now, they just need to add team tendacies and better player tendacies along with a boat load of new transition animations. And then I think this game will be competitive with the competition.

You are right about the court size and spacing. for me NBA live 08 feels better to play. i feel clausterphobic with nba 2k8.

Its like playing NBA in the Labrea Tar Pits, it looks molasses slow. Senior citizens would enjoy playing the game at this pace.
