Haha, what a moron... don't touch the right stick until you pass halfcourt, Duh-ron. What a stupid reason to not like 2K8. Hilarious. And you can always shoot with the X button anyway... bizarre.

I guess I can relate though, because Live's stupid separate dunk/layup button gives me fits because I'm used to regular (i.e. good) basketball games that use context to determine that kind of thing instead of allowing people to shoot 30-foot one-handed runners....

I just think this is because Chris Pauls on the 2k cover and he want's to be on the next EA game so he can keep the rivalry between them going.

Deron doesn't like the game, and I believe I know why. NBA 2k is so complicated that you actually have to take the time to learn the game in order to appreciate it. All of the things that we take for granted as realistic and lifelike are detriments to pick up and play type fun.

Isomotion and the shot stick are somewhat intuitive for us, but the casual player can't figure out how to do a spin dribble, and the shot stick seems like a less controlled way to shoot, as Live has a Dunk/layup button and a Jumpshot button.

In all honesty, it's his opinion. He might be so use to the Freestyle control that he doesn't feel the desire to get into the shot stick style. With each game a strong point is given over the competition. Honestly though, Live is a good looking game. Some people have a different preference in what they desire. Let's not turn this into a who's right and who's wrong type of thread a.k.a. trolling. Thank you.

That is true. Purely his opinion. I can understand where he and others come from on their opinions on both games. Which is what my statement was about. I have friends on both sides, and I have played both games.

EA has to have the worst animated sports games on NextGen. Madden, NCAA, and Live all have horrible robotic animations IMO.

I agree that Live does look pretty good when the players are not in motion. However, once you see them move it's a totally different story.

Hopefully, the addition of new talent that the Live team has for this year will help address the poor animations in this series.

The way the players animate looks ridiculous in most cases and very unnatural.
