Yesterday i popped live 07 in my 360 to look at the footplanting technique. I forgot how advanced this was. What did the producers do with this? Did they scrap this idea or what? I even went back and read blogs about 07 and ran across a demonstration at E3 from that year explaing footplanting. They talked like this was gonna be the next evolution in sports gaming. I mean 07 had many problems but that was one of the bright spots in my opinion. I played a few games and then played 08 and the fooplanting adds lots more strategy, i mean you cant just hoist up shots from anywhere you have to actually plant your feet and step into the shot. Does anyone know what happened to it or if will return in 09?

they never mentioned it again but I do agree with you, it was very advanced and did make the game a bit deeper.
