But when All-Pro came out, it kind of gave a new meaning to players talking. In the vein of players talking, it could be a next level of interaction between the environment and players. I could see that happening.

One preview I saw said nothing of a surprise feature but did talk about "Be a Pro" mode, and another had the news of a surprise feature but did not mention "Be a Pro" mode. So, judging from this, I'd say that the secret feature is "Be a Pro" mode.

I doubt it is a feature, more of a production technique of some sort that adds to the experience in a new way.

and NOBODY has talked about this "secret" yet at all. It is under wraps evidently until E3

That is not very groundbreaking tho like they said, and since NHl09 has the euphoria engine for checks Thats why I think it may be this, for paint collision and fouls.

That is not very groundbreaking tho like they said, and since NHl09 has the euphoria engine for checks Thats why I think it may be this, for paint collision and fouls.

I'm now guessing it may be like the NHL board speculation where you have an online mode of clans or teams that play other teams.

I'm imagining a halo-like "Party" mode where your team stays together and is randomly matched up with other teams or in a tourney and set on a course to climb the ladder.

OR if you are a single, I picture a Matchmaking mode where you are randomly matched up with 9 other players to play full games. basically log on and play all your games against the other live players on an EA server like a battlefield game... no rooms, no waiting for games to start, no random host kicking... just log in and play with other live players full court.

Its only ten players on the court in b-ball, 5 on each team.

Its going to be a feature that updates players based on their last night performance, so say good bye to roster updates.

Thats what you call groundbreaking.
