    Post Game/Snap back rim.....

Do you guys think they should incorporate the post game and snap back rims from mm 08 into the new live game. I was playing mm and I like this aspect in that game. I like the rim action and the available moves in the post. Didn't play a lot of live 08, but I don't remember it being quite as good...

    Re: Post Game/Snap back rim.....

I hope they will because that system they used seemed better suited for the pro game.

Because to me in mm08 every post player played the same but for live 09 because certain players have signature moves there can be more of a difference between the good and bad post players. So players like Josh Boone will have less moves to use in the post which will make guarding players like him easier because his moves are more predictable. While a guy like Elton Brand will have more moves to use which will make guarding him less predictable and make him more of a threat on the court.

So therefore guarding the better post players will require more strategy for the defense because now trying to keep a great post player in check with just one person will be more of a gamble if he's not a good defender. While on the other side it will give the offensive players a legitimate post threat that the defense will have to address. Which to me was something that I thought was missing from both live and 2k last year.

A Dev. has already confirmed that break-away rims are in.

Haven't seen any vids of it though.

Hopefully, we will see something soon.
