Yes, you can hire/fire guys. I can't speak on out of bounds because the build I played was unfinished. Didn't see any major issues, however.

Can you do this BEFORE the season starts or only after Season 1 / Before Season 2?

The build I played didn't have many net variations. Definitely could be improved but there were more important things the game needed, IMO...

2. Not sure what you're asking. Dunks were better but there were a few that looked out of place (in terms of takeoff, positioning and defensive player contact).

I am assuming since the only question you skipped had to do with the new feature that that is in fact the feature and it is player updates every single day.

The new feature is nightly roster updates. Including created players, all transactions and stat alterations. It is dependent on the prior nights game performance. The updates will also include the previous games starting lineups.

Answer this: How come last year right before Live 08 came out they admitted the previous games sucked and said they completely revamped 08, but it still sucked? Why should I believe you this time for 09 if EA lied before 08 released saying it was smooth?

Also, is this going to be better than NBA 2k7 because 2k7 was better than Live 08 which is sad.

I used to be a huge Live head. Idk what happened to EA, after 2004 the games were horrible and 2k picked up where they left off making amazing games.

I realize you weren't playing the CPU but did you get any scoop on substitutions? Will those patterns change along with all the other DNA tendencies of teams and players throughout the season.

We had auto-subs on when playing head to head and the sub patterns didn't seem out of the ordinary. I can't say I focused on them, however.... they just didn't seem silly.

Hi Pared,

Here's some questions I'd like to ask you about NBA Live 09:

1) In Dynasty Mode, will you be able to choose how many games you can play/simulate?(or are you stuck having to play
/simulate all 82 games per season like in NBA Live 08?)

2) In Dynasty Mode, are there actual in-game non-simulated injuries that happen to players? (I never saw any injuries in NBA Live 08 except during games I simulated).

3) In Dynasty Mode, when you start a new year with new computer-generated rookies, does the game call out the actual name of the rookie or does the number of the rookie only get called? (I believe in NBA Live 07 EA stated that the auto-generated rookies got their names called out, but in NBA Live 08 they reverted back to only calling out the # of the rookie).

Unfortunately I didn't see enough of Dynasty mode to answer your questions. I believe that you can change the number of games per season but don't quote me on that.

Has the on-screen display for hot zones been changed at all? I hated pressing L1 (?) to view my hot zones, all the while showing my opponent where I'll probably be shooting from.
