- Are there many ball hoggers or people who don't play D or get lost playing defense? Is there a way to know before the game starts if someone is a ballhogger or not?
- Is there kick voting?
- 'Ready' button before the game starts?
- How is player selection done - first come first serve? Fantasy draft? Who picks the team?
- Many quitters?
- Detailed stats? It'd help to be able to see who passes alot and who doesn't.
- Feedback system?
- How long are games by default?
- 2 on 2, 3 on 3 too?

Cali. I've called like 5-6 Blockbusters around where I live, none have it, I think they discontinued it here.

This **** is so fun... even with cheesers who just pass full court for dunks, it's fun to just play your role and go with it. I had 21 and 13 with HAslem one game because I was hustling -- caused 4-5 misses on breaks. ust ran one and had 12 points and 13 assists with Nash (including the dine to Dirk for the game-winner). Really fun.

Anyway, I saw somewhere that you can set picks in this mode, but I feel like I've tried everything and haven't figured it out -- anyone know? And it me up if you wanna run a game.. I've been playing this mode constantly since I got the game a few days ago. Can't WAIT for 5-on-5 in both Live 09 and 2K9.

Yyeah man the Team play is that crack you have to find a group of guys your comfortable with and find other squads to run against cuz MOFO's be quitting left and right

sounds awesome. I think i'll just buy this game from ebay for cheap since non one has it to rent. can multiple people from the SAME console play in OTP ?

Glad some of you are liking the OTP feature. We were pretty happy that we made those kinds of strides last year. BUT --- NBA LIVE 09 will have OTP improvements that build on the foundation set in NBA LIVE 08. I can't wait till you guys get your hands on it. Look for a producer blog this week that explains NBA LIVE 09's OTP in depth.

Stephenson, can you clarify if we are able to set picks in OTP in Live 08? I saw a thread that claimed if you hold 'Y' next to a defender that you will set a pick, but I've never gotten it to work. If that's not in 08, it definitely needs to be in 09.

My main wishlist for OTP in 09 would be:

-Ability for PG to call plays, then play art shows up for each position on the floor when a play is called.
-Set picks manually
-Call for ball animation (press a button and your player waves his arm, etc. to call for the ball)
-Clan/team system so that you can actually keep a group together for multiple games and possibly a dedicated "team" system with rankings, tournaments, etc.
-Team Captain has the ability to switch positions in-game (this would be useful if you find out that the PG is a ballhog and you want to move him to C so he doesn't ruin the game)

Fun mode overall though -- aside from my general Live 08-related issues with the game, I have a great time playing this mode.
