Almost forgot, taking charges online is way TOO EASY as well. People will just take there guy and put him right in front of your guy during an inbounds and you don't even have to press the speed burst button or anything, just the slightest nudge on the left stick to try and go around them and you STILL knock the guy over for an offensive foul.

???? Oh man, that's total garbage. Anybody pulls that crap with me is getting a one-way ticket to a disconnect and my "Never Play Again" list.

Yeah people do it all the time online. They be rapidly pushing the left stick to the left like its the steal button lol But the bad part about it is the succes rate is too high Ive turned the ball over three or four times IN A ROW many of times due to it being so easy. I mean just the slightest nudge on the left stick and bam!!! Offensive foul.

I have to disagree the charge feature is just right...I see people doing it all the time to me but all you simply have to do is be aware and avoid the charge...I think the people having the most problems with this feature are simply trying to steam roll right over defenders...You gotta be aware of what's going on and use finesse...If your aware and use finesse this is never a problem.

Also I've seen animations where the players make contact and the defender gets knocked down and its not called a charge. There are far more other issues that are truly problematic such as FT's being too easy or the baseline being too easy to exploit or fools quick striking continually to get to the basket. Charges should be the least of their concerns...If someone gets me once on a charge I become more aware of how and where my ball handler is dribbling

I think you missed what I actually said in my above post. I don't just speed burst around the person. The L stick is to control the ball carrier right??? Well I can be trying to go around someone by just SLIGHTLY NUDGING the L stick.....you got that right???? Let me repeat again and you imagine in the process.....I can just be SLIGHTLY NUDGING the L stick (no other buttons pressed, no other sticks moved) and my guy will still knock him over.

It's not weight based, or anything like that. I'm gonna try my best to purchase one of those dazzle things so I can record my games to show what it is I'm talking about regarding everything I've been mentioning about this game.

And if you go back and check the wishlist thread, ask the devs thread, and I've even made a couple thread, I've mentioned everything you stated plus more. Wish is why i said I also most forgot in my post.

Cool...but you would agree wouldn't you that everytime there is contact it is not always a charge or foul...Often its a NO CALL...Players hit the ground and they just keep playin

Re: NBA Live 2010 GamePlay Wishlist...

                I know it's late but here's a wish anyway...

Have the option to incorporate DNA into manager or season mode.

You play your season mode as you normally would.

You could have and option where the DNA and trades kept in line with the regular DNA updates...

Or you could have the option where only the player DNA is kept track of.

I think this is the best way to implement 365 into manager mode.

I'll use an example to illustrate how it would work...

E.g. I'm playing manager mode with my Lakers... I get to the playoffs within a couple of weeks. But at that time in real life Kobe goes out with a sprain for two weeks. NooooOOOOOO!

Now I've gotta deal with Kobe being out while my play offs are on.

I know it is a bit impractical for people that play years and years of dynasty but it would be great for keeping your manager mode 'fresh daily'.

Currently I have no desire to play a season because within a week the rosters are old, and I know it.

I know what I propose will not make season mode more realistic. But it will definately make it more engaging and fun.

(Of course the option to not use 365 in a season/dynasty should still be there.)

                Cheers,

                J

Dynamic Crowds. Only logical way would be off of the teams rating. So Lakers vs. Cavs sell out, arena is packed. Pacers vs. Bobcats, nobody is there, empty seats. Also, make it so when there is a blowout (i.e. 20 points or more, just to compute the numbers for the game to know when to do it) people start to leave the game. This would be amazing!

Re: NBA Live 2010 GamePlay Wishlist...

Now that the patch has been released the game is what it is this year.

Here is what I would like to see next year.

-Animations, Animations, Animations, Animations, and more Animations.

The game is sorely lacking in this area and needs a MAJOR overhaul. From signature styles, to basic animations, to idle animations when players are stationary etc.

The players need to appear more lifelike and more like individuals.

-Visuals. This game took a significant step backwards in regards to the graphics. Next year the Devs. need to find a way too improve the graphics while maintaining 60FPS.

Also the arena's lighting should be arena specific. There is no variety in the lighting in each arena. They are all still waaaay too dark IMO.

Check out the competition and the way they do arena lighting, it's perfect in their game and each arena has it's specific lighting as seen on TV.

                    -Gameplay.

This is where you guys game shines.

Other than fixing the obvious ie; lack of fastbreaks and poor interior D please address the following:

-Add lockdown D to the post

-CPU controlled Perimeter Bigs who shoot 3's need to be represented MUCH better in next year's game.

You guys need to add sets/plays for the AI to run, that position these guys behind the 3pt line more often.

These plays should be in place for guys like Okur, Dirk, Al Harrington, Troy Murphy, Jamison, Sheed, etc...

-Add playsets for other players to intiate the offense other than the PG. I'm hoping Beluba is all over this one. He brought this over to the 2k series and it adds soo much variety to the offenses.

There is more but, I just wanted to keep it simple.

Improve the visuals, the arena lighting, the quality and quantity of the animations (can't stress this one enough) and this game will go through the roof IMO.

NBA Live09 plays the best game of halfcourt basketball ever IMO. Now you guys have to complete the other aspects of the game, in order to complete the package.

                    No excuses though.

You guys have an excellent foundation in Live09, and next year's Live will determine if EA will ever be able to get the crown back. You guys are soo lose to doing so.

This is my most anticipated game for next year and hopefully you guys deliver.

                      Good post edubbs, I agree.

I would add: Clean up the out-of-bounds graphical glitchiness. If you step out - you're out. Period.

With all due respect its requests like this that I'll never understand. With so much GAMEPLAY still in need of work how someone can be worried about a DYNAMIC CROWD is beyond comprehension for me.

The game tempo and flow needs correcting, the FT's need to be fixed...Some variety from team to team needs to be more prevalent and only after all of that is solid do we need to worry about crowds...Atmosphere is very important but who cares about atmosphere when the gameplay is still suspect???

                          Make on-the-fly subs easier.

The current system costs you too much time and can result in stupid turnovers.

Not sure how you could fix this, but I think 2k's on-the-fly subs work better.

Right now, I just pause the game to sub.

We also need on-the-fly subs during free throw sequences. I'm assuming this was just an oversight.

ANOTHER: Maybe a forced sub system for online games ... so guys are required to use 8-10 players a game and not just their starters.

Minimize unnecessary loading of the default shoot around area.

It should always load up when you boot the game up.

Perhaps after a game or skill challenge you could default to a menu, and you can just press BACK to go back to your Shoot around area.

Don't get me wrong, I love the shoot around area. DO NOT remove it. I love it.

It can just get frustrating and add a lot of unnecessary loading at certain times. For example...

                            - Running through skill challenges
                            - Playing multiple games in Season or Dynasty

                            Cheers,

I think you answered your own question in suggesting allowing us to make on the fly subs during FT sequences...But to do that they would need to make FT's relevant enough for us to even want to watch the routine...Personally if I thought allowing the player to go through his routine would increase the accuracy slightly I'd be more inclined to let the sequence play out but as it stands now I shoot 100% from the FT line so FT's are a joke...
