Don't even look at the ball. Concentrate on the ref because he moves a spit second before throwing the ball up. As soon as he move, hit (Y). You'll surely have success.

Yeah the ref is the key to winning tips. As soon as you see the ball about to leave his hands press Y.

I'm with you man. I have yet to win the damn tip.

I thought, "Maybe it's because Bynum is taller and more athletic than Perkins."

So I switch to the Lakers and the Celtics get the tip everytime.

Before I switched the difficulty up to superstar I was winning the tip everytime. But when I moved up I haven't got a tip since.

I win the tip every single time.

Just watch the ref. The second he moves, press Y. It doesn't matter who you control; As soon as the ref moves, hit Y. Easy win on the tip-off.

I'd actually like some more interactivity in this part of the game.
