those pics are pretty damn nice, but why do all the players arms look like there in a weight lift competition?

this is exactly what I just mentioned in another thread. The player models all look like they're on steroids. Just a normal default body with little definition. Chris Paul looks like he's on roids. Tony Parker and Yi are the closest models similar to normal.

Sorry guys but none of these players look like they are on roids LOL. They look like they are in shape but im sorry ....FAR from a body builder. Quite an exaggeration IMO.

That said i do prefer the 2K models for the most part

Wow! You wouldn't know good graphics if it sat right in front of you. Oh wait, it is! 2k models look like PS2 type graphics! I mean I really could care less what you prefer, but you cant say that Live is far off from accurate, and think that you are correct!

Look at the definition and the bulk in the Live picture compared to real-life. Overall, the Live model has much more bulk. Not to mention the wrong skin tone.

The vascularity stands out in this picture. Deron isn't that "ripped" and his veins definitely do not show like pictured in the Live model. Again, wrong skin tone.

I know this is a nit-picky thing, but you can obviously tell the difference between them. I'd think they'd want to achieve as life-like as possible models. My gripe is the ripped and highly defined muscles. There should be more options of body types; but more importantly they should allow us the option to CHANGE them!

LOL, boo hoo, so i dont agree with your opinion. Besides graphics have nothing to do with player models per say. I tend to like LIVE's graphics over 2k's but thats not what I'm talking about.......Player proportions(Arm length, legs, shoulders....ect) thats what im talking about. Sure some are going to be off in both games. And both games have good player models IMO. I never said LIVE was way off, matter of fact there are somethings about LIVE's player models i like more than 2K's. Bottom line is though i have my opinion and just because you dont agree with it, well really doesnt mean a whole lot to me

btw just like the "players look they are on roids" comment

"2K models look like PS2 type graphics" ..... again quite an exaggeration.

Nah yo, your entitled toy your opinion, I wasn't saying that you were completely wrong, but the way that I am seeing 2k compared to Live, I just personally don't see how you could prefer their PS2 looking models to Live's models. And saying PS2 is no exaggeration. Please compare:

                          Andre Iguodala:

                          2k -

                          Live -

I mean just look at that face! Perfect complexion, facial texture etc. 2k makes him out to look really dark (which he is not) And they give him a thicker hair.

You know what it is ....i dunno its somthing with the upper torso in LIVES models. Like there a bit too long, if that makes any sense. I love LIVES graphics and i dont even mind the "ripped" look. Actually i think the more i look at it, it seems to just be in certain poses or animations the upper torso looks a bit long to me....i dunno

Nah i think 2k did a good job with there graphics this year i like both games so I'm not bias, but I do agree Iguodala does look better in live. Its the muscle tone in live they need to improve they over did it with certain players.
