    IMO you can't have a dynasty mode w/o being able to make staff changes...It, other than personnel, are the two most important responsibilities of a GM. The fact that you can hire a trainer, scout, assistant coach...BUT CAN'T HIRE/FIRE THE MOST IMPORTANT COACH OF YOUR TEAM...Is beyond me.

    I was trying to be civil w/ Stephenson, but there is a laundry list of items for why I dont buy Live. I wasn't going to go w/ all that, and would've liked to know from the source why has Live designed their game this way...You honestly mean to tell me it doesn't bother you to see Larry Brown on the Bobcats sideline...And Introduced nonetheless...in yr 2015 of your Live Dynasty...Well actually since you play live you probably don't mind the that your player can run out of bounds w/ the ball, come back in w/ it, and not get called for out of bounds so why am I even asking you...?

        You guys seriously are going to play 20 years of a basketball game, every game? You guys have more free time than I do. I don't care who the coach is, half the time I rarely even notice him. Sorry that's a deal breaker for you guys, but in all honesty, it sounds like you guys were just looking for reasons to not like the game and picked something very minor.

          This is a very good point. Right now the head coach has no bearing on his team, and generally on the game. In real life we know how important head coaches are, and how different coaches bring different philosophies/strategies to their team. I don't know how this can be done in a video game, but it is something that ALL makers of bball games should look to in the future, imo.

          Now the issue of not being able to fire/hire head coaches in Live is not a dealbreaker for me, but I understand where the complaints are coming from. For a game heading towards a more realistic and sim basketball experience, this option shouldn't have been left out. Even if it's just cosmetic, it adds to the realistic experience.

          That being said, do the Live 365 Updates also update head coaches that might get fired/hired in the middle of the season?

            do cpu generated rookies still look chinese with long hair? and are ratings fixed? like a guy with 95 3pt rating but 45 free throws?

              yep ... kills it for me ... aside from the gameplay also .. lol. but yeah the afghan/chinese looking rookies are back to ruin my dynasty and I really cant understand how ea makes those great looking generated player models in march madness and they cant carry it over to live . smh . oh well maybe next year .

                  i doubt they even look into it. it's the same deal with their college game and for some odd reason they haven't noticed many fans want this to be an option again. you can't play big games in the season if it's not your team which is stupid.



                  one of the main reasons why i'm going with 2k9 this year because of the flexibility. we spend hard earned money on the game and yet we are restricted to playing with only one team. these guys are crying about coaches not being able to be fired and the way i see it the lack of control in dynasty mode would be a bigger reason not to buy it.

                    I am a franchise fanatic...2k has really disapointed me with its sim engine again....I simmed 8 seasons and had these problems:

                    -No player ever averaged more then 11rpg per game...one season the league leader avg. only 10
                    -No rookie ever averaged more than 16ppg
                    -Greg Oden, Beasley, Bynum, Rose etc never develope into decent players
                    -The first season I simmed Dwight Howard averaged 12ppg 9.8rpg....Dude could pull that in high school

                    What I want to know is what is the Sim Engine like in Live...I havent played Live in years but may make the jump if the stats play out right in the dynasty.

                    Also in Live 09....Does it keep track of individual career stats for each player or does it still only show the stats for the player in their previous season?

                    Stats, Stats, Stats....can someone let me know?....Thanks a bunch!!...Drew
