Re: NBA Live 09 PS3 In-Game Replays Not Working
I too wonder how this could have gotten past Playtesting. I mean seriously, they HAD to have run into this.
Puzzling, very puzzling.Comment

Re: NBA Live 09 PS3 In-Game Replays Not Working
FWIW, I started a World Championship tournament and my first game was against Spain and the replays weren't nearly as bad as I had seen previously. I lot smoother.
I plan on testing this out in many arenas this weekend, with different teams, online and off to try and isolate it. It really bugs me.Comment

Re: NBA Live 09 PS3 In-Game Replays Not Working
It's just funny how some of these gaming sites get the game early and never mention any of these obvious flaws.
come on EA you had to know. It's not like NCAA 09 where the editing was a problem. Theres no way in hell that no one who worked on this game did not do an instant replay or hit L1 for a replay and say. Fellows we have a problem. This is not working right. But then again maybe EA had the only flawless copies. People say conspiracy theories but why was this not mentioned from gaming sites with early copies? This is why a some people think conspiracies are in place. Very disappointing EA. Steph were you guys at EA not aware of this problem before this game was released? If not are you guys going to do something to fix this problem? The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Re: NBA Live 09 PS3 In-Game Replays Not Working
When I got the game before release, I wasnt having any replay studdering issues.
Once it released was when I first heard of it and saw it. For the most part if I want to see a replay I do manual replay which is fine by me, and the halftime post game replays are fine as well.
I really think it has something to do with being connected to EA online at the time. Has anyone tried otherwise?Comment

My Sprite halftime highlights don't work. And my postgame highlights do, but it only shows one play over and over.Comment

Re: NBA Live 09 PS3 In-Game Replays Not Working
I thought I'd chime in again - I've played a game on my PS3 where it wasn't an issue. This time, it was a Play Now game that was picked out for me by the CPU, Spurs vs. Suns? (wow, I'm drawing a blank) Just the default matchup in Play Now from yesterday.
Regardless of my lack of short-term memory - the replays in this particular game worked just fine. I'd like to call attention to the fact that this particular matchup was selected by the CPU - what I'm getting at is that I wasn't playing with my "Favorite" or Home team. I'd like to float the idea that maybe PERHAPS playing games with your preferred, favorite team, may contribute to the slowdown?
Hopefully EA figures it out, because when the replays and highlights work well it's pretty sweet icing on the cake of a great visual presentation. Having lots of fun with this one.

Re: NBA Live 09 PS3 In-Game Replays Not Working
I made the switch from 2k to Live this year and glad that I did. There are a some serious problems with Live, but all in all I'm having a lot of fun with it.
With that said, can anyone answer if EA actually responds to customer issues? Is it likely that the in-game replay issue along with some of the other issues will actually be resolved prior to Live 10?
What is their track record for handling issues such as this? I could be wrong, but I honestly sometimes believe that these bugs are intentionally packaged in video games so when the next release comes, it really make it looks like the developers of the game "really did something."
I've been playing video games for years and I'm not sure if there has even been a replay issue such to the extent as this in a video game. The game play is great and yes, you can just turn off the replay, but we all know it "bugs" us.
Also, I've seen some responses posted to the fact that their replay issue has been resolved if you do this or that. I've tried all the do this and do that on my PS3 and none has worked. To me it's time to hear directly from EA Sports as to whether this will get resolved, or if it will not get resolved.Comment
