Im no hardcore BBall player, I would miss somethings that people would notice in a true sim basketball game. BUT after playing all 3 demos, NBA Live 09 is my choice personally. I think if youre like me you enjoy watching it, you can get into it and all that but youre not an actual player and dont know all the ins and outs this would most likely be the best choice for you.
You will hear 2k9 get praised because its a solid franchise but visually it doesnt cut it, everything is Jagged the coolest thing i saw was some coaches faces.
Live looks better overall arenas players all that stuff. both games run smooth.
Live improved its Gameplay, you can move alot more easily as opposed to last year, 2k has the edge here though, but overall for an average guy who likes presentation and a game that looks nice Live seems the way to go.
The inside well improved still doesnt cut it quite yet, even though "the Life" is cool but thats kinda it
