First off.. im a HUGE 2k fan here but i must say EAsports delivered this year with NBA LIVE 09, its a total turnaround in just 1 year. If you NBA Live dev's are reading.. you guys did a GREAT JOB this year and i love the atmosphere in LIVE 09..this game sports alot of life and the games feel ALIVE (could use a bit more but its still great) players on bench talking, player expressions after good and bad plays, emotions,etc..this is what i keep stressing over in the Madden Forums in which Madden09 lacks so greatly, hope madden dev's see this post to..its that just some good atmosphere and presentation can totally change the feel and flow of a game so much..amazing how sports developers miss this aspect so many times. NBA Live 09 is like the NFL2k5 of basketball games..seriously it has that fun factor to it..although the halftime stuff needs work.
There's some quirks here and there, some of the menu's seem a bit unstable or not polished enough but over all the game is "fun" & "exciting" to play..thats what counts, i believe the atmosphere improvement this year over last year is a HUGE factor in why its so fun to play.. but also the gameplay is more refined and it just feels good while playing.
Anyways.. the gameplay is NICE,AI is smart, tons of sliders, the features are great, franchise is uber sweet too! I havent even dug into online and all the 365 stuff yet..so far just been enjoying this game with just some testing of modes like franchise and be a pro mode,etc

Im getting the cool camera/record features down a bit now, got some camera's changing, a little slow mo-capture right when i get up in the air...only thing i screwed up on was to speed back up the camera after i dunked..owell, there's always next time
