    Code Already in Use?

    So I bought Live 09 last night at my local Wal-Mart. Unwrapped it, put in it, put in the code...bam got a download. Played for a bit, turned it off. Turned it on around 4 am...bam another DNA download. Turn it on today, asks me for my code again? I put it it...tells me that the code is already in use? Thats not possible...I didnt tell anyone my code. So whats the dea? Is it the servers? Has anyone else received this msg today that use their DNA code last night? I am using a PS3. Thanks for any feedback.

    Yep, happening to me too! Call ea they reset codes.

      What # did you call EA at? Everytime I have called them including today its nothing but recorded prompts...never leading to a real person.

        jeez I've been waiting for an operator for over 20 minutes now and the wait time keeps going up

                    They couldn't help me when I spoke to an EA rep, she said she'd let her supervisor know about the issue.

                          Alright...I went ahead and remained on hold. What the hell, right?

                          Anyway, I spoke to a very polite and apologetic chick working the tech support line. They are quite aware of the issue (in fact, when I told her what game I was calling about, she asked if it had to do with the NBA 365 redemption code telling me it had already been entered).

                          She said they have people working on this as we speak...they're getting flooded with calls from people experiencing the same problem, so they're being forced to do SOMETHING about it.

                            Amazing!!!! The people finally stand up and force EA to work on a problem. Thank God in heaven.

                            On a serious note, did they happen to mention what kind of solution they were looking at? Is this a server type issue or an issue with the codes themselves? Thanks for the info TJ.

                              While I'm quite sure the tech support chick I spoke to (who was actually in the great US of A and not somewhere in India - THANK GOD!) doesn't know exactly what's going on, she did indicate it had something to do with their servers.

                              The good news is that your code is permanently married to your gamertag/EA account, so they have a record of you putting it in.
