That's weird because I saw Randy Foye play the other day and the shoot didn't look similar to the one in the game. Also another problem with Pierce, his free-throw shoot is off, he shoots way different from what you guys have. You guys need to talk to Pierce, he causing lots of trouble...lol

Can we change Paul Pierce's shot to anything decent?

His jumper feels like crap, stiff, awful coming off the hands, makes his arms look short, and he really doesnt get under the shot like he does in real life

The Pierce sig shot is not real.
It would be more real if Pierce has the same that :.....
I think: C.Butler or C.Anthony? or Dunlevy?

I don't even like shooting J's with Pierce because his shot is so off and weird looking.

If we all can agree on a better one then maybe we can expect a change?

Don't worry, guys, his shot will DEFINITELY be changed for Live '10 to something more authentic. You have my word. In the meantime, if you want to swap his current shot for someone else's already in the game, let us know which shot you want and Marcus can update it for the next 365 update.

Don't worry, guys, his shot will DEFINITELY be changed for Live '10 to something more authentic. You have my word. In the meantime, if you want to swap his current shot for someone else's already in the game, let us know which shot you want and Marcus can update it for the next 365 update.

He just needs another shot because his current one as someone earlier said makes you not even bother shooting with him.

Ill look up some shots to give you guys a name. Pierce's is bad enough to warrant a change though.

If u change pierce is his fadeaway gonna change cause i think that part was spot on now rip hamilton isnt that great ur amening in the right direction but it realy needs some work it doesnt even seem like he s holding the ball can u guys change it if i find something better

I dont think that his fade changes... how about Devean George's shot.

Kinda hard to find one because PP's shot is just different than all others, but the one he has now needs to go.

Yeah, if you find another shot that's better for Rip, just let us know and we'll make the change. I'll see if one of our animators can create something better for him for Live '10.

By the way, we got a new Pierce shot in game now. Maybe I'll post a vid later.

Hey Beluba, just curious when you guys mocap players do you mocap them shooting jumpers by themselves or do you do it with a player infront of them, because some of the jumpers look like they are uncontested shots even tho a computer player is running at them, could there possibly be a quick jumper animation added to each player for when they are open and 1 where a player is closing in on them? Thanks. By the way, Ea had been getting alot of flack for some of there poor games in the past but it is nice to come here at 2am est and see a develper online fielding questions 365 days of the year. Good Job to you and your compadres.

Hey Rock, we always contest the players when we capture their jumpers. Truthfully though, it is pretty challenging to get athletes to go 100% game speed during mocap shoots... especially the NBA guys. We're making a conscious effort to push the talent much harder this year, so I think you'll notice a difference. As for having a separate contested & uncontested shot for each guy, we probably won't be going that route this year just due to the sheer memory and time impact -- but we are exploring different solutions for conveying open vs. well-guarded shots.

I understand some of the players dont want to get hurt, but how about non nba players? players in the D league or some of the smaller basketball leagues you could probably get cheaper talent that way, But I dont know if that is a union issue, how bout recently retired players? Just a thought for mo cap sessions

Any chance of a video today Mike, showing the new Pierce shot. Also, can you guys create a new shot for Deron Williams next year, I have looked through tons of shots and still nothing that looks like his.
