    PS3 vs. 360

What are the differences here guys? Graphics similar? Controls just as tight, etc?

I love how the 360 looks right now as far as Live. Hopefully the PS3 is the same. I'm moving everything over to the PS3.... sick of the 360 and it's hiccups, etc.

PS3 version = no disc errors; system will not die on you unexpectedly; less freezing.

As a former owner of the 360 and after taking it back THREE times (thanks Best Buy replacement protection plan) due to the "red lights".....I exchanged for a PS3 and never looked back since.

Include the fact that there is NO monthy charge for the PSN and the console is a blu-ray player and it upconverts your regular DVDs.....it's a no brainer!

I meant it in regards to NBA Live... how does the game compare system vs. system. I agree though, the PS3 is great and stable. Amazing... stable? I didn't know that existed!!!!!!!!! BAHAHAHA!

That's why I asked about Live. Curious to see how far off it is vs. 360. I might rent it to see....

I really do like my PS3 a little more at this point. I won't get into all the specifics, but it's close.

If they would fix the scoreboard issue than I would say either. Depends on how many friends you want to play with or have the game.

If they don't, 360 all the way. If you play on broadcast view you are in trouble. You can't see the ball, rim, or top of the court in this view going to the left. I really hope this gets patched. If not than, well I don't know what I will do.

I think we'll be ok. That being said, I just rented the PS3 version after having the 360 version for quite some time. WOW... the PS3 version looks poor compared to the 360 version. And, btw, I have converted just about every other game to PS3, so I am FAAAAAAAAAAAR from a 360 fanboy.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. I figured I'd rent the PS3 copy just to get an even comparison... wow, I'm glad I did. I will say this, the game feels different on the PS3. Not sure I can quite describe it, but they are definately not clones of each other.

PS3 with HDMI on my 56" 1080p HDTV....NBA Live 09 looks amazing. No complaints here at all. Maybe it's your TV or set-up.

Could be. I have a 55 inch Samsung Plasma. I realized i still had the Live demo for the 360. The 360 definately is smoother. courts are smoother, players look better too.

My neighbor has the ps3 version.. i have the 360 version. The 360 version looks better trust me bro. I have a nice Sony HDTV professionally calibrated.. my neighbor has a similar setup with a Kuros Plasma with his ps3... both quality displays, the 360 hands down has better textures, lighting and plays more smoother.

By the way, i have a xbox 360 elite with hdmi going into my hdtv. I couldnt live without my 360, its got so many freaking good games its just amazing, 360 has this holiday season locked up with the amount of sweet games coming out for it right now up until xmas. I dont have a ps3, dont really want one when i have a 360 already.

Note: This is just an observation, not meant in any way to be a console war post. I own both consoles.

The 360 is always gonna have an edge with EA Sports games because they have to port the ps3 version.
The games are always built on the 360 first, to make sure they can fit in a DVD. They are then ported to the ps3.
Imagine the possibilities with the game if both had Blu-Ray drives and all those gigs to fill. I am slobbering just thinking about it (or maybe it is just my old man dribble).

I second this point, Imagine if EA utilized NBA Live on the PS3 the same way Konami utilized Metal Gear Solid 4. The graphics would be totally insane! PS3 is really powerful and many developers haven't even tapped into the power of the console fully.
