NBA Live 365 code?

I'm thinking of getting live off of ebay but is there anyway to check to see if the person has activated the 365 code?? I found a seller who said he didn't but you never know!~

I just bought a used copy that had the code inside still. The code worked.. So now I have 7 days to decide whether to keep or not..
