I might be in the minority here, but I really like the "game" player pictures. For some reason, it just looks cooler.

We will always get the EA Sports overlays.

if by 'never' you mean this year, than yep. lol

Now that NCAA has broken the mold, its time for Live to scrape off its own mold and bring espn and others to the board for 11.

So true. I figure everyone should know by now that next year all the games will get the ESPN treatment. My theory is the only reason why NCAA got it first was not to overshadow Madden and Live this year. But you know they\'ll both get the makeover next year. If they do not get it I\'ll be totally surprised.

NCAA Basketball 10's presentation is great so hopefully in NBA Live 11 it will be something like that.
              New York Knicks. 1-3

Look at why NCAA did with there overlays/tv presentation. There is NO reason why Live or any other EA game couldn't do that. It's about time they take the ESPN license and do something with it.

I agree with you totally, when I first heard of the announcement that EA got the espn license, I was very excited for the possibilities to come. But more and more it has become evident that EA just acquired the espn license not to enhance their presentation but to keep 2k from using it in theirs.

I don't remember what the first game was after the announcement but I remember everyone saying the license came too late to really implement it, but that is not the case anymore, all we get is the crappy espn radio updates. Not sure about everyone else, but I have a seperate TV where I game at to watch/listen to while I play. and even if I didn't espn radio updates are not all that. Do somethin with the license or give it back to 2k. And I had 2k5 the only year I bought 2k football besides the first iteration on Dreamcast. and the presentation was breathtaking. especially making ur own stadium music from ur music on ur HDD (xbox).

They're done well, but way too small and kind of inconsistent.

The stat overlays need to be in a larger font on the bottom of the screen.
Exactly the score is tiny as well. I don't have a large screen TV and it seems this game is geared toward ppl who do.

Yeah and it eliminates the silhouettes for the generated rookies in dynasty.
