I still don't understand WHY the developers/producers won't say what fixes the patch is including? IF it's already been submitted to MS and Sony....then what's the big deal. The "wait until it's released, then we'll tell you" response is hogwash. This is a damn video game patch, not a National Security issue. It helps if you (EA) treats it's customers like adults instead of children. What's funny is even the Madden producers shared the patch info BEFORE release with it's gamers. Strange how the NBA Live people can't do the same.

Hello, There is one BIG "BUG".
All online Leagues are running on a PRO dificult level.
All-Star, SuperStar.
I had played a ot of online leagues matches and always was runnig on Pro difficult level.

Im sure;
The green free throw bar side is bigger than All-star and Superstar.
It is to much easy to make baskets.
The players dont take fatigue (minimun)
And my Game settings difficult level is turning on a Pro level when it is on a Superstar level.

the patch, Will fix this BUG, or it is too much late?

Really impressed with the NCAA 09 demo EA. I know you are saying this patch was a big effort and I'm looking forward to it. But it's obviously noticeable the extra development time that NCAA had. It looks like everything live could have been had it had more time and really takes advantage of the engine. It's fast, smoother, less framerate hiccups, less clipping. The AI is better in spots. The controls are more responsive, etc. My thing is I prefer the NBA game, and I'm hoping a lot of the extra polish that went into NCAA is also included here while obviously keeping the NBA game different. I'm assuming this game allows for some pretty extensive updating via a patch?? I really would like Live to be on par with that game.

Sorry for the laundry list lol, but the main issues I have with this game right now is the amount of clipping. The framerates and player models are a bit choppy. Passes are almost too slow and the game speed in general needs some smoothing around the edges as far as tempo of different teams and fast breaks. The hands up animation is ridiculously useless and slow. The rebound animation and post defense needs work. Jumping and some of the buttons just dont respond the way they should. Other animations dont seem to be tuned right. There are bugs in the commentary and the game freezes and doesnt seem as stable as it should be when disc loads are occuring. Auto subs are messed up. Also a fatigue meter should be added to on the fly subbing because you have to pause the game to see if a guy is tired or not.

Hey i understand the way left4dead feels bout the patch and the info and the devs point of waitin till its been "accepted" by sony etc

i cant wait for the information on the patch just to see whats init and am wounderin what time scale were lookin at as it seems like its been sent ages ago

Also i think i noticed vlad radmanovic's arm band has been updated, not 100% sure if it has but just seems different and thought i'd ask as ppl are askin if that kind of update is in the patch

the hairstyles of melo,morrison and Bogut redone
Amares glasses as an option
have some new animations thrown in for layups and fast breaks?

i think the problem people are having is that the madden team announced full details of the patch well before it was released or certified by microsoft or sony. people like that. the cloak and dagger stuff? not so much...

And what happens if Microsoft or Sony doesn't approve something in the patch? Then you have the same problem Ian had in the Madden forum of setting an expectation of POSSIBLE Downloadable Content (the Accelerated Clock) and it not happening.

I think it's a good idea to wait until they KNOW what is coming to start announcing things.

^^The first patch iminurbase said was for the OKC Thunder update. I think getting the patch allows the add-on to work.

I think mostly it will be gameplay fixes, as hinted by iminurbase in the Live forums way back when.

Also the patch will correct the "team colors" issue for the accessories, which currently always shows up as a very dark shade of black in-game.

stephenson already mentioned that court and hairstyle changes cannot be made for 09, but who knows.
