I am so impressed with how its done. EA went all out on it. Great and spot-on commentary. I just basically wanted to give huge props to EA for putting so much effort into this game this year.

The commentary is cool, but aside from that I think they actually degressed from NBA Live 05's All-Star weekend mode. I guess the 3-point shootout is pretty much the same, but the dunk contest, ugh...those animations are whacked out. In 05 they were much, much smoother.
I think the atmosphere is a bit overdone, too theatrical with the lights and pyros.
Oh, and I miss being able to throw the ball off the backboard for self alley-oops (or alley-oops to teammates) during the rook-soph/all-star game. Especially with the new replay editor, we could've done some great highlights.Comment

I remember the backboard toss 2005 days...
Recording with Ernie and Greg for the All-Star weekend stuff was fun this year; it was the first time we did any player specific stuff. Almost every player who has a decent shot or dunk ability has specific commentary.Comment
