Does the 1.02 patch contain the fix from v1.01 as well?
Yes it should. 1.02 is all the code in NBA LIVE 09 plus what was added for the first patch.

Thanks for the update guys, and thanks for the patch.

Hopefully next year the fastbreak and rim physics issues will be fixed. Check that, I'm expecting it to be fixed.

Yeah...fastbreak issues like guards with open lanes NOT driving to the hoop = not fixed.

But you can change headband colours...

          What a dissapointment.

Gameplay = who cares. You guys can pay us $60 again next year...and watch as we leave something else out.

            C'mon CV lol.

Beluba told you guys that we have size limitations. It's not a prioritization issue, it truly is size.

We don't just leave stuff out to spite or have you guys pay for a game next year. If you ask any one of us, we'd like to put every single thing in any version of our game each and every year.

              Steph,

When I played an online ranked game, the freethrow meter (the green bars) didnt change for each shooter ??? Why was this changed ??

Jermaine O'Neal now has the same meter as Jason Kapono ???

It wasnt like this before the patch.

I've been buying your NBA games now for years and there's always something substantial missing Steph. I remember one season the game had no offensive rebounds.

Guards not attacking the rim is a major, major problem. I play the Cavs and LeBron is in a 3 on 1 and he walks to the corner half the time...

IMO that should have been a priority.

I know you have size limits, but Playmakers has improved the game more than your patch seems to have...and he doesn't get paid to do this stuff.

Pastapadre is reporting that the patch contains no gameplay improvements. None.

IMO that's a huge let down.

                  Pastapadre:

I spent a few minutes trying to get a feel for any differences between then and now. As far as I can tell nothing has was changed by this patch. The delay in jumping to block shots as well putting your arms up with the right stick is the same, the high shot percentages seem to be the same, and the menu lag remains

I totally hear what you're saying CV, and all I can say is that it gets a whole lot better from now on.

Oh yeah guys, I forgot two main PS3 things.

The scoreboard for PS3 is now like the XBOX 360 version. You will also not see the stuttering PS3 replays anymore.

I appreciate your honesty and the fact you come here bro.

I am a married man and I work pretty hard. I've paid now for NBA Live four years in a row. That's $240 for a product that's still a "work in progress".

IMO the software industry gets off very easily.

If I told my clients that "it will be better next year"...for 5 years running...

I'd have no clients or job.

Maybe next year Live will be complete. Let's hope so.

The value is there this year, as I've said in other threads. I enjoy the game. 365/DNA is good.

You and Beluba have it headed in the right direction.

It's kind of frustrating after 4 years of paying for this "next gen" game that we are still in the beta stage though...as I am sure you can appreciate.

OK so you say size limitations when it comes to patches. So are we going to see any more patches that might correct the problems left out, notably fast breaks? Or are we done with this year and going to start on next years? I only ask because it seems silly to limit a game to two patches when, assuming you do, the game maker wants to make the game better with patches.

Maybe that's too wordy. Basically, is there a limit to the amount of patches? If there is not, then are we likely to see another patch for this years game?

This is all I wanted to hear. I was ready to trade in the ps3 version for the 360 version. Can anyone post a pic or small vid of where the scoreboard is now? Just wanted to check before I made my finally decision.
