That was an airball that had no chance at touching the rim.

You can't really tell because of the quality of the clip, but the player's hand went THROUGH the rim to get the ball, so I'm afraid I'm gonna have to disagree.

Happens to me a lot actually. The players will clip right through the rim and backboard and grab the ball.

It's messed up. Guys can pick it off the rim too when it's rolling around.
