Temporary fix to FTs offline

Just go to your player edit screen for your favourite team and globally edit free throw ability down 25 to 35 points.
I haven't found a definitive number yet, but this definitely works if you only roll with one team like I do.
Just bring down your team's free throw ratings, no other teams.
I haven't started a dynasty yet because I'm waiting for the new ratings (Playmaker/Stephensonmc) ... so I don't remember if you can edit player ratings once a dynasty has started.

The patch didn't change FTs for offline, it was online only.

People are also reporting that this has also been changed for offlive as well.

I play offline only. Free throws in my opinion are fine. Long green bar for the good players and small ones for the bad ones. Shoot I must stink cause with certain players I am brickin Fts left and right .

It sure feels like it has. I am about 40 for my last 40 on free throws.

I am 100% with Dave on this.

Before the patch, I loved the free throws.

Post patch...I think I have missed about 3 in the past week of playing. Maybe 3 from 150 attempts.

They are definitely easier.

I'll take your tip Dave and do the edits

Rebounding, D is all better post patch...but free throws are defintiely easier. (OFFline)

The only downer using this edit is you can't play rewind games.
The other is a simple rating change by Steph at EA Canada won't work, because all the CPU opponents will be lousy free throw shooters.

Oh well.

I finally got online today and found out something simple - I need some quality SIM opponents. Online play would be great if I could find guys who enjoy playing NBA or NCAA basketball and not just rushing for the paint on every shot.
