How does a team move up 13 spots in power rankings based on going 2-8 in last 10?

In my Dynasty Portland, with an overall record of 17-40 and after going 2-8 their last 10 games, vaulted 13 points in the power rankings from 18 - 5. They vaulted over teams with winning records, winning streaks.

They didn't win any tough games as they've lost 8 of the last 10 and the last two in a row.

Ya, I had OKC do the same thing. I dont think the Power Rankings are programmed right at all. But thats just my opinion.

I wonder if there is any help to this problem at all or its just programmed wrong and will be fixed in 2010.
