Why No Retro's?

I've just been curious, please Steph or a mod answer this. Why did you guys take out retro jerseys? Now I know that the deal with Mitchell and Ness fell through, but 2K has retro's without the branding of Mitchell and Ness, why don't you guys?

I don't have an answer for you bigball other than the time it took to build them.

We're exploring it for this year though. We'll keep you guys in the loop.

Thanks Steph, I'm sure you guys will do something like the March Madness download with more shoes and Jerseys....

Also whats up with the All-Star Uniforms for 2009. When will you guys be adding them like Live 08?

Yeah it would be great to play with retros...they are missing a lot...

would like to play with the alternate bucks jersey from the mid 90's and so on...

Live used to have it all, classic , socks , shorts , all jerseys and tragic , bird , ect .
I used bring up all old lakers and celts and have classic team in dy NASTY mode with proper uniforms so cool .
Then like all EA games basic functions just disappear like they never existed

I think EA should include a classic mode...I mean what would be greater to replay the good old ones...like LAL vs. HOU 1986, or old celtic games in the garden...replay willis reed's heroics...and so on...and than the gamer should have a lot of retro jerseys to choose from...I liked the nba store in nba live 2004 and 2005...I had a big motivation to get special old school jerseys...would like to have it back
