Hey im new here and i tried to search for somthin of the subject but i didnt find what i was particularly looking 4.. last week i was on a 5 game win strk until i ran into somebody who pulls the ehternet cable to make the game lag.. (LATELY THATS ALL I BEEN PLAYING IS PEOPLE WHO DO THAT WHEN THEY ARE DOWN) is it anyway around that..each tyme i would try to shoot a 3 or fadeaway they would jus make the game lag and the ball would pop out of the rim...the only way to score would be jus to keep dunking...HELP!!! by the way on on ps3

I don't get this. How does pulling on a cable make you lag.

Are you sure you just didn't have a bad connection that caught up with you?

THKS i apperciate you responding back...but im postive its not my connection all of my connection quality bars are green..all the other games i play dont lag..and it only happens when i have the ball...and im up and my opponent is down..sometimes they will

i have a dsl internet connection thru sbc and if i were to pull my phone line cable out of the back of my 2wire(modem) for a split second then pop it back it the game will lag...

no one has ran across this?? if i play 10 games in 2 days atlesat 4 of the people do it..i know im not crazy...

i have an example but i cant post it because i dont have 5 posts..yet

another thing that happens that i forgot to mention is sometimes when i play online i cant call a time out..sometimes im not able to even pause the game..i cant substitue.. i try pressin up on the d pad and down..but still get nothing..its like the person im playing against disables all of those feats for me and i have to play the game with my starting 5 lineup..which we all know they get tired and start missing easy shots!

I have never heard of an opponent being able to disable your ability to call timeouts or substitute. Also to answer your lag question, it might have something to do with you running DSL.

Yes it is true.
You can do:
When you have(first time) the ball press "Select" (Time out), if you cant to do this then you must to quit before the Clock is in 4,00 minutes, if you cant to press Pause too, then disconnect the cable.

If you do this before the 4,00 minutes match clock, the ranked and NF% is not affected.
