Has anyone been able to cut the Knicks Salary Cap down? I usually use the Knicks when I did franchise in NBA 2K but just bought Live. I'm a Knicks fan and was looking for some possible trades people have made with them.

since i didnt want to be over the cap for the first few years of dynasty, i released jeffries and james before entering dynasty mode, which made me 10 million over the cap instead of 20. im struggling early on in my 1st year now, but i'm planning on trading randolph for someone with an expiring contract and then just not re-signing marbury after the year. that way, i will have a lot of cap space and can build my team. -

I haven't did a dynasty with the Knicks but the easiest way is to cut player you don't want before the dynasty starts. if you don't want to do that I've found it pretty easy to target trades with teams that have a lot of cap space. For the most part, if a team has the cap space they'll trade for a player even losers like jerome James.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013
