While I certainly agree that it was weird not to see our game in the spotlight of E3, it's with good reason, trust me. We're preparing to come at all of you with the freshest NBA LIVE perspective we hope you've ever seen from us.

We will begin the blitz very soon, and won't stop even after launch. It's a new time for NBA LIVE, and we're really excited to show you what we've been working so hard on. We had a long journey ahead of us when we started development, but with the right plan, people, and execution, we really think you'll see a difference. No fluff guys, we don't want to put any of that on you this year. Seeing is believing, and you'll see shortly. But we have a long ways to go, and information will be spread out, but we'll be providing you details that you guys crave through our interaction with all of you on here, other forums and of course, the Inside Blog.
Man i cant wait. Hope info comes out by this weekend. Hype machine is still on and i know i wont be dissappointed at all this year. I know live sales this year are going to shoot up higher. Also im still glad u werent at E3 because it would have taken a few days out of the dev team working on the game and besides you can get SO MUCH done in 3-4 days of the game. So lets go EA SPORTS/ Nba Live10

I am excited for live 10 too. I understand that you aren't at E3 and would rather you not be there if you would show a product that we gamers would not like seeing at this point. I am just anxious for info because I need my basketball gaming.

The online dynasty seems to be EA's direction right now, and I'll be surprised if we don't get a pretty good online dynasty in NBA Live this year. Also, it will be nice to see how the Thunder is portrayed in this year's game. Last year, everything was so rushed with them because of time, but hopefully they get a lot of respect this time around. I'm definitely excited for the first news.

I hope so if it's anything like the turnaround of madden 10 it's a first day purchase! I play 2k but definitely would like live to became d the game it used to be! Right now it's like a hot girl you're dating but the little things she does gets on your nerves so much d that you just break up with her lol!

I think EA has it this year. It gets better each year, the only thing that needed work was gameplay, but a new team comes with new directions.

Re: "Guys, we're not at E3, and that's a good thing"

Just putting my .02 in here to clamor for a developed Be A Pro/Superstar mode in 2010... NBA games beg for this since there's smaller rosters and you're involved on practically every possession. I'd be all over that.

Also, thanks for skipping the flash and hype of E3 in favor of concentrating on the game's development. I'd rather not see anything from you guys than to get a trailer or something that was rushed to be ready for E3 just for the sake of having something to present. With all the improvements to Madden and the other games in the EA Sports stable, I'm not worried that Live will be the exception to that, especially with Beluba on board for a full development cycle. Keep us posted, guys -- thanks for all the updates and answering our questions, even if all you can say is "you'll see soon enough".

Me too. Not because of bias or anything,I just feel 2K is getting a bit on the stale side and a great Live will push them to do something big and significant again. It's been pretty rough for Live this gen so 2K hasn't really had to do anything. No matter wich way it goes 2 great games are better than one.
