A Few Questions after playing online.

Any answers/solutions would be greatly appreciated. More than anything, I've had trouble breaking down the effectiveness of dribble penetration. I'm not looking to stop it entirely, I'm just looking for a viable defense to reduce its effectiveness. Second, how big of a factor does momentum play in live 09? I've only had it for a two days and I've been unable to find a clear answer to the latter question.
    Thanks in advance.

Practice your lock on d in the academy and get used to the control and when to use it.

You will need to know who you are guarding.

What I like to do, is whenever a ball handler catches the ball, I do 2 things.

    1) 1 click on the left stick to see what the ball handlers hot, cold and nuetral zones are, and to see what drive direction is his strongest..

    2) Click on defensive assist, just to make sure my defender is square.

Use lock on and force the ballhnadler to go where you want him to go. Move him towards the side he has the ball, and then anticipate the turn.

Try to force the ball handler to his cold zone. Try to dictate where you want him to shoot the ball from.

If he catches the ball in a hot or neutral zone, crowd him...just like in real life, defenders run shooters off of their spots.

When a guy has the ball in a cold zone, I'll back off a little. Either he'll shoot it, and the % will be in my favor, or he'll try to smack into me on the drive, and I get a contested shot (although sometimes the game bails the shooter).

As far as momentum, the game kind of builds.

It starts out rather subdued, and then gradually gears up in intensity.
