                        For what it's worth, Kobe averaged 22 shots per game against Houston, and averaged 33 points on 45% shooting (he had 1 really bad shooting night that series and still shot a solid percentage).

                        Battier might be the best on-ball defender, but there's no slowing down Kobe. Battier even admitted that much, that all he can do is play him right and hope he misses.

                        It's safe to say that guarding Kobe is Battier's only weakness on defense, lol.

                        It seems like more people try to take away credit from Kobe than any other player in the league.

                          The only person that can stop Kobe is Kobe. In the sense that the guy is very emotional. He loses focus easily. Unlike Michael Jordan, who was fierce from tip off until the end, every game, Kobe exhibits emotional outbursts that affect his focus and therein his game.
