Cover idea before the Dwight Howard announcement.

Before I knew Kobe was on 2k10's cover I preached everywhere I could that if not Kobe then LeBron MUST be on the cover for NBA Live 10. I expect this game to be nothing short of jaw dropping and the package in my opinion should match. Don't get me wrong Dwight Howard is cool, but check out what I foresaw... Imagine LeBron on the cover looking aggressive, similar to the Kobe cover on 2k10. Then imagine loading up the game and in the gym is LeBron with Jay-Z playing in the background. The new single to his Blueprint III lp dropping Sept. 11th of this year "Death of Autotune". To me that screams authentic. Jay-Z is at NBA games and LeBron and him would bring soo much awareness to the product it would be rediculas. Plus if the game is as good as I expect it to be, that D.O.A for the competition. No pun intended. But I assume there is a budget for slow sales in recent years, and E.A decided to put the money in development this year and hope's word of mouth does its job, in that case I respect as well. Anyway, these are just my personal thought's on the matter of Marketing for the "come back" edition in the Live series. Let's discuss this as Men guy's. Good idea???

Dwight Howard is perfectly fine. He's a young and rising superstar and one of a kind athlete in his own way (just like Lebron).

Personally, I wouldn't even care if the cover was blank with just text, haha. I don't think a cover boy has every swayed me to buy or not buy a game. It's just a cover.

Same goes with the music.

Lol. Fair enough. But for the ppl it does sway, cause keep in mind not everyone are as strong minded as you are. It takes a bit of convincing, in this case for this particular product the cover. I think the 10th anniversary package is going to be a game seller for Kobe fans with and without systems esp. Since they JUST won the championship. That was a great decision by 2k10's Marketing team.

kobe bryant's lame, and Jay-Z, with all other commercial rap, sucks. That idea would make me not get any basketball game this year.

Me too. But we all know where he's at. LOL. Fantastic move by those guys at 2k's marketing, but LeBron is a GREAT second option. His stardom is about to go through the roof! He has Shaq this year, two great N.B.A personalities. Then after that he's coming to N.Y (crossing fingers). Either via the Knicks or soon to be Brooklyn Nets. I personally feel NBA Live 10 is going to blow 2k10 out the water. Both visually and gameplay wise, I have THAT much faith in E.A's financial ability paired with the new talent. I'm just greedy and wanted a full out of the water package. Again, Dwight Howard is a wonderful player with room to grow. But the league belongs to Kobe, LeBron and D.Wade. ;-)

Kobe deserves to be on BOTH covers. He's the best player on the planet and the face of the NBA.
