Are you kidding? NHL 09 was freaking awesome in terms of gameplay.

And who really cares about halftime speaches and bench POV's? Not most people...that's when most people push "X" to skip the cutscenes and get back to the game

No I'm not kidding NHL 09 was of poor quality 5 on 5 though most of the problems could've been fixed with sliders but they really didn't have any. This sort of mode also saved NCAA 10 from entirely sucking.

I'd care about it if it was in Be A Pro.

having Be a pro would be real fun in an NBA game, nothing like seeing yourself dunk over another player.

I believe i read a article about them trying to get this feature in last year. But it wasn't enough time so they gave us the mode where you take one player and control him and thats about it.

Guys in all seriousness. The only time this will be a cool thing is once we get first person view in NBA games. Also, once you can import your face as well.

Then I can play as myself and enjoy the mode. If it's not up to these specifications I'm afraid myself and a lot of other buyers won't get turned on.

RTTS is the best career mode hands down and its baseball! Basketball is the one sport where one person can really dictate the outcome of a game. If an basketball video game replicated RTTS it would be amazing.

Exactly, but it won't happen.

Even if it's like Madden it'd be amazing. For the simple fact that unlike being the QB where you're just on defense, in basketball you have an input on damn near every possession.

In 2k9, I did player lock a lot, because I just love the feeling of being Lebron in the 4th quarter and just taking over a game. Being able to do that and see FROM THAT VIEW would be amazing.

If they are taking the steps that the FIFA crew did with their BAP then I think that it may be in this year. If you recall in FIFA 08, BAP was online but also you could play a single match at a time offline as well. The next year in 09 you could play a 4 year career offline. Hopefully there is BAP in Live with elements of both what NHL and FIFA did with their career modes.
