In Nba Live 09 the triple treat aka the first step is usless

In this tread I have 2 videos posted explaining that in Nba Live 09 from the triple treat postion the first step is eliminated by the use of the lock down d which has been eliminated in Live 10,but i would like to know if you are aware of this issue and has it been addressed and fixed. Im not pro Ea or against EA but i would like the OS Members and Belbua or Steph to comment on this thread.

u see players getting sucked in to the offensive player like when luke uses the force to grab his light saber..

I hope they fixed it too. There were a lot of "magnetic" animations in Live last year.

I should be about footwork and defensive postion when it comes to the first step. Not some magento type force field.

it was only on first steps, when theres contact on layups the defender and the offender gets sucked into each other....yes i like that live actually has contact unlike 2k, but the contacts should be more natural...

I'm sure it will be a lot better, it wasn't as big of an issue in NCAA 09 last year so if they tweaked it that quickly it should be even better with the full dev cycle to work on it.

I agree ecworldwide. That was my biggest complaint with Live 09 and that is what made the game feel somewhat cheap to me regarding it's defensive accolades.

this is quite similar to the one problem I have which is out of bounds. You head towards out of bounds and sometimes your guy teleports or bounces off an invisible wall.
