The game is nowhere near complete. If we see gameplay and it's not as fluid as we'd like it to be (because its not done) the Live developers will get bashed to no end on here. I don't see nothing good out of showing gameplay videos. Just wait for us to get the demo, play the demo, and judge from there.

Please hold off on the gameplay videos. I know I don't have to watch the videos, but I coem to this board a lot. Obviously there will be threads talking about it.

dude - at this point the game is pretty much done. The game will be on the shelves in 2 months, and the developers have to finish the game at least a few weeks before that. So the game is about 99.9 percent done by now. Anything you see in the gameplay videos will almost certainly be identical to the final game.

I'd love to see gameplay, like most others here. Can do without the dissection, but I cannot stop people from doing what they want to do with the media handed to them.

The vids would help me try to get over my inherent bias against Live. Took me a couple months to convince myself to get Live 09, even when I could get it new for 20 bucks lol. I want to make my decision much earlier this year.

I would say it is. Think about it - the developers only have about another month to work on the game. At this point they are probably just cleaning up minor details and touching up small things. The gameplay and the overall game is pretty much set in stone by now (animations, controls, etc. - all of that stuff is about done this late in the development span).

ok...maybe 95 percent - but any work they still have to do at this point will probably be minor details (like shoes and minor details like that) - the gameplay and animations are probably about 98-99 percent complete by now.

I think this is going to be an occasion where the developers are actually going to be less sensitive to the criticism then many of the OS members.

Some will tear the game to shreds just because they've already made up their minds, but most will probably kid glove their responses so as not to cause conflict with those who are very protective of Live right now.

I definitely have no agendas and no favoritism. I thought both games under delivered last year. Live was stale after awhile but the gameplay was my fav. 2k was fresh, beautiful and authentic, but the gameplay lacked.

And no I want a good hoops game I don't care who it is....

2k dropped the ball in ways and so did the Live crew but the had solid things to build on and that's reason enough for me to get excited to play

If all I'm doing is skating and dunking all day or doing the same 5 moves because that's all there is then these games will get old fast too
