If someone wants to declare a game the best ever, I'm totally O.K. with that, even if I personally feel it may be a bit premature. I'll take that over relentless bashing, and calling developers out of their name, every day of the week.

Barring some unfortunate bugs that aren't patchable, I think both NBA games are going to be GREAT this year, which one will be the best? that going to be a matter of opinion, probably mostly based on player control and artistic style.

A lot of us will get both games and OD on basketball goodness. I just hope that those who choose only one game don't feel the need to justify their singular purchase by taking juvenile shots at the other game.

We're not talking about it much now, but I actually hope that somehow, someway, NCAA Basketball 10 is actually the best game of the three. College Basketball Dynasty mode done correctly >>>> every other game mode ever, IMO of course.

I think the point you're missing is that it's not a 'wow' because it's a new feature or like it's things that shouldn't be there that are there, It's a wow because it's finally in the Live series. I've been buying Live every year 2001 and 2K since 2K5, And theres always been things about one that i'd wished was in the other, and when the other did get the feature, instead of looking at it as 'yea well the other one had that', I saw it more as, yes finally it has that feature.

For people that are Live only gamers, it's irrelevant if 2K had it as they wouldn't even know, so this would be an exciting feature to be added.

EA is not trying to copy 2k. They are trying to make the best basketball simulation possible. With them adding the fundamentals of basketball, I would not say that they copied 2k. Just because 2k had them first doesn't mean that EA can't put them in their game. Also EA is trying to get away from adding the features every year. This is not what I call a back of the box feature. They are trying to add all the little stuff to make a great game. That's all, they are not looking at nba 2k and saying lets steal their idea.

There is a difference between saying "they stole 2k's features!".. and saying "They were missing fundamental parts of basketball that were apparent in 2k".

Ea is going back to the way they use to be from live 05 and you can tell..Why would they try to copy 2k...When i seen the producer vid and the mo-cap i was sold

From a 2K players perspective I agree these improvements aren't that great but to a Live player they are because they are making the game better then last year.

And that is what we want to see improvement because the game was already fun to begin with in our opinions so this will just make it even more fun.

vid was okay. crowd looked great.. but as said many of these features were needed in the game although already featured in the 'other' game; so i truly dont kno how to judge that. i'd rather see gameplay action than trailers to be the judge of which one is a must buy..
