that was a million times better than live 09.

i dont like hwo the rest of the team was standing around though during the loose ball sequences.

maybe have it that guys with low awareness might do that..or just react slower to the situaiton but everyone beisdes those 3 people around the loose ball standing around looked kinda weird.

Well, I'd rather them stay at home on their defenders(which is what I saw) then to go across the court and then the other team gain possession again and get an easy basket.

to jaosming...when i play basketball and there is a loose ball there is usually only a couple guys involved in it. If Im not involved im still gonna stay on defense just in case we dont get it. Believe me this happens all the time.

I understand that, every player shouldnt go in on the ball, but, they shouldnt just stand around either.

Shadows....DL the video instead although watching it on a smaller screen it looks much better...but the option to DL HD is insider only

Although we've only seen 1 from the front by all the one's we've seen... I'd like to know about backboard layups as well... at least these are no longer those awful teardops

CP3 hit the floor for the ball twice as opposed to once, whoever that was.

Boozer's dunk looked really fluid and nice but he cant do that

The crowd in the stands are amazing. Not just one guy randomly walking the steps

I'm not worried about it tbh, I'm sure Live has a rating for vertical leap (they've got a rating for everything-- I think I seen a "Swag" rating in Live 09 ), and we can just edit Boozer's to 50

Was good until you notice jermaine o'neal going for the block on no one. Just had to point it out, It was an issue in live 09. Ball Awareness, clearly he can't tell where its at

YeahI don't have a problem with what jao is talking about... that's fine by me. I do worry that we'll see these same animations too often (diving for ball, rolling, tapping it out), but as long as there are some of the normal "poke the ball, grab the ball, run" variety, hopefully the diving ones won't happen too often. But yeah, seeing the exact same animation twice in a short vid is something to be a bit concerned about from a "freshness" perspective.

Still love the animations though. Marcus, are these sequences scripted animations or is there possibility for variation? I.E. if they save the ball from going out of bounds, does it automatically get passed to the nearest player on their team, or is there some component of randomness or user control to it? Are the diving animations triggered by the user's input or contextual based on where the ball is, etc.?
