    Subbing players out of postion

Can something be done about this? Im really sick of seeing, Kobe, ginobli, fernandez and what not at the point guard.....Like lessing their ratings or make them lose the ball more!

Also putting in scrub players just because they are tall or the small quick ones...who ever that guy is on the pacers.

I use the suns and Ill put in lopez at power forward for rebounds and its crazy that he can do all the animations of a point guard and score with ease. The big guys really shouldnt have access to alot of scoring animations.

Kobe and Ginobili could both believably run point (Kobe does IRL from time to time), and I'm sure Rudy's ballhandling is too low to be an effective PG.

The developers have stated that some of these issues have been cleaned up a bit.

And although I know what you're meaning, you used a bad example of players. Ginobili is a great ball handler and has been known to bring up the ball and facilitate the offense when Parker isn't. He's got some sick ball handling skills.

And I don't think I need to defend Kobe. There's a reason he's considered by many as the best all around player (at the very worst, 2nd best). He can definately handle the ball like a point guard when needed. Heck, during crunch time the offense runs through him and he runs it like a PG. Check out his highlights in dribbling/passing situations (usually Gasol is his favorite target).

and good example would be when a player tries to put trevor ariza or rudy gay a point because they shouldn't be able to handle the ball good at the point. I makes me mad too so i only play a select group of friends on my list. Thats the best advise i can give you. You gotta find sim friends.

That's the biggest key...playing with people who won't cheese.

It was hard for me last year to enjoy online for that reason. I like to play realistically.

Alright then, so you have to exploit the fact that they have average ballhandlers at PG. Trap them, force them to put the ball down, etc. Expose their lack of an actual ballhandler at point

Haha yeah, playing OTP and watching the host sub in 3 7-footers (i.e. Portland with Pryz at C, Oden at PF, and LMA at SF) and then move the SG to PG always gave me the heebie-jeebies. Hopefully they limit their allowable positions online (at least in ranked and ranked OTP) to what they actually play according to Synergy data... THAT would be great.

But yeah, if you were just punished gameplay-wise by using those ridiculous lineups, that's almost better... counter it by running small ball against it and just steal the crap out of the ball and run the break or something. It was definitely an issue for Live 09 though.

Yeah in nba live 09 that is a big problem with the lineups and the lock on d and player movement make it impossible to stop the lineup. 2k8 wont let you put in fake lineups with with auto subs on or off if im not mistaken. So hopefully they wont even let players play postions that they dont play at the current time. If rudy gay is a sf the let him play sf and his secondary postion even third. If he moves to point guard then let him play the point its that simple. Dynamic lineups thats should be it look ea i gave you guys a free idea. lol
