Yeah they've been throwing hints of having something like a dynamic season/franchise mode which will follow the real NBA through Synergy updates.

Sounds really good if true, and I'm sure a lot of people will love it, but personally not my cup of tea. (Just like how I think 2K's NBA Today will be great, but I don't see myself using it too much)

I like controlling my own team and letting the cpu do whatever they want with their teams in my franchise. So hopefully they made a lot of nice additions/adjustments in their normal franchise mode.

I agree i mean the whole dynamic season thing sounds nice, but its not going to take any time from me running my dynasty. In my mind this dynamic season and the real dynasty mode are two totally different modes. I say that because i am slightly worried that this new mode will be treated as a "Dynasty mode" replacement which wouldn't made dynasty guys happy.

I am really hoping the dynasty mode got some improvements but with how the Devs seem to be dodging any qestion that has to do with dynasty mode and replying to a dynasty mode question saying "we have something better than dynasty mode!".

Either they have a totally crazy mode that will make everyone forget about dynasty or more likely that they haven't made much improvements to the mode at all.

They're not dumb enough to eliminate traditional franchise mode where all that matters is the "franchise world". That's the whole point of franchises... I'm positive that the speculated-on DNA update "real season" mode will be something separate or something that you can turn on/off within the normal franchise.

Yea im probably just overreacting, the traditional dynasty mode will probably be around for years and years to come. But like biggD said this seems out of place in a dynasty mode setting since like you just explained the whole point of the franchise mode is to be a part of your own "Franchise world" that is separate than the current NBA.

So if this part of the dynasty mode i hope it did not take away time from them making real dynasty improvements.

I sure hope it has a trade override (unless they're coming in with the owed draft picks) and players will be editable during the season. Madden sure screwed that up,not that it had trade override last year (it should) but you can't edit player ratings during franchise anymore.
