I think he's right, because when you look at the vids and everything from Fri, it looks hard as s*** to score down low. So you probably are forced to find openings and pick your spots on offense, esp on Superstar (I just can't go any lower, so it looks like I'll be getting it handed to me at first lol)

Two things I wanted more than anything for this year, especially after playing 2K9 all year, is the paint to be represented properly w/collisions, and tough to dribble/score in, and an emphasis on mid-range game for guys like Kobe who are deadly at it. Looks like Live is delivering.

Man if this is really true though, my girl will HATE Live 10. She already hates this website/forum.
    NOW PLAYING:
    NBA 2K16, MGS5

    WAITING FOR:
    Fallout 4

Wife: "Of course he's going out to get his 2K game at 12am, like he can't wait til tomorrow."
Wife's mom: "Be grateful that's what he's running out at midnight for."

I want to see that too. This other basketball game I played last year ( ) the CPU would either shoot thirty 3-pointers or get dunks and have 80% of their points in the paint. We had to handicap the close range sliders to artificially force missed easy shots in order to control the shooting percentages

I think with Synergy, we saw a solid AI and statistical results in Live 09...I'm thinking in 10 it will be even more in-depth

The great thing is that you don't have to create "house rules" and artificially handicap yourself or not capitalize on scoring opportunities to get the scores to come out right. You pretty much just play normally and the stats work themselves out. The pacing is beautiful in this year's game and, along with the offense vs. defense balance and mitardrange game, it's one of the things I'm most proud of this year.
Is it going to be a online lobby room for superstar and how many minutes will the qtrs be?

If not yall need to add this because im pretty sure its alot of sim players that dont care for dynasty mode like myself.

Ahh, this man speaks the truth. We struggled together, lol, tryna "fix" the gameplay on that "other" game, but truth be told he's right, we basically had to handicap the paint scoring (among others SMH, Pbz what's the HOF "Speed Gap" like 20? lol) to stop it, which just resulted in a million missed chippies and still no midrange game.
I need to know that Superstar level means the CPU will D me up and punish my mistakes/bad decisions & make smarter ones, rather than just giving them a high margin in the attributes. Mike's Defense blog gives hope though.

This would be a dream come true, if there was a Superstar lobby set to the highest difficulty and longer qtrs.

well it's 6 a.m. and i'm about to hit the gym, but you made my day with that comment and it's so early in the day. lol. You have made a lot of Live fans happy today. But for real, it's awesome that we will get to go through these 12 minute experiences with real stats. I'm sure sometimes we will be mad at ourselves for making a stupid mistake that will cost us the game, but as weird as it sounds i want a few games like that in the season. It makes it that much more realistic. We see a lot of games in the league decided by the last two or three plays. They are mostly mental mistakes like fouling too early, shooting too early, fouling the wrong shooter, or feeling like Kobe should have taken the last shot when you had an open J in the corner with fisher.

Another thing, Are we able to create our own scenarios in this years live? i might just want to put myself down 20 in the fourth. Of course it will feel so much more natural and exciting in the franchise mode, but i'm hoping i don't get my but whooped too often that i won't even need to create a comeback scenario. LOL man that would suck. I'm not crazy about it if it's not in though. Since you just told us that it will create realistic 48 minute games, I'm assuming we will see every possible scenario play out anyways.

And thank you very much Beluba and the rest of the Devs for taking some time to answer here, We cant stress enough how cool it is to have the actual Devs responding on here. I'm not sure how it was last year or the years before, but it's new to me.

That sounds pefect! Really happy about that. That's what I try to achieve every year by adjusting sliders. A game that will have realistic scores and stats in 4 x 12 minutes games out of the box is amazing...

NBA Live 10... Where amazing happens this year ?!

Thanks for all the community interaction Live 10 team!
