Free Throw ROUTINES.

From what i saw from the demo vids, it looks like everyone has the same routine at the free throw line. Will it be like this in the final game?

If not so, i guess EA missed this part out. I'm not saying the game isn't looking good, but it's a big plus when players have their own routine in the game.

I noticed the same thing. Then again we can't judge too hard off a Youtube vid. If anything all freethrow routines could be added in a update at a later date. Hopefully. They had a lot to work on and overhauled a lot. They aren't going to match 2k bar for bar by Retail, but I would say they got 85% of the things in. Incredible job.

I don't even notice or really care...I usually push "x" and skip any cutscene that would show the routine anyway.

they would be really sweet if included and nice detail, but I think after the first or second time I would definately be skipping them...it might be just me though, i was never a big cutscene type of guy, if that's even a term haha.

I'm a Live fanboy but they need to seriously use da routines from 2k cuz their own is spot on, i don't understand how da hitch between da free throw routine and actually shot made it into live 10. In 2k9 kobe's free throw routine was spot on but that live 10 kobe routine looks no way like his regular one

Yeah, assuming that they didn't improve on the free throw routines from Live 09, I'm really disappointed by this omission.

2k9 did a great job with their free throw routines/shots, and you know that it will only get better with 2k10. I really thought that this year Live would also bring it in that aspect.

Minus points in authenticity for me.

But hey, that's just my opinion. Some ppl don't care about free throw routines, and I totally respect that.

I noticed the same thing. I wonder why they would bother to add 7 million shoes and tattoos, but leave out signature free throws/routines? Things like signature animations and moves add a lot more to the game experience than all the shoes in the world. I also don't understand why nobody mentions that in the previews. Maybe/hopefully it will be added in the full game, but highly doubt it.

Co-sign. They will have some free throw routines, but it will be nowhere near the level of 2k. I hope they add this next year. I really loved how 2k9 had the routine and the shot.

If their goal was to have an authentic NBA game then they should have signiture free throws for almost all the players.. i dont understand why they would leave something like that out..

They need his signature free throw shot. I didn't notice if they had the routine, but I know they don't have his sig free throw shot. I hope they add them next year.

Forget next yr. I hope they do more capturing in the next few and Have it available for download by the time the game launches, if they aren't in via Xbox Live and PSN. I always felt animations and other on the surface things should be patchable. The yearly iterations should be for hard code and new modes. My gut feeling is NBA Live 10 has this possible as well.

It looked an awful lot like his shot in the gameplay vid I saw. The routine was definitely kobes. The shot maybe or maybe not.
