its only becuz microsoft makes u pay so they want it to seem lik ur getting ur moneys worht with certain types of exclusives

you get what you pay for. $40 /yr well worth it . not ragging on sony, but xbl gold is a great deal. week early on demos like live =awesome deal

Since XBL is $9 a month I'll take the $108 yearly savings and wait a week and get it off the PSN for free

It saves being a smart shopper.

Man I always post my deals in my DC Deals thread in the General Neighborhood FOrum. I always find specials for XBL. I have never paid $50 for it. Never even paid $40
