yep! i'm actually going through my DVD collection of older NBA games waiting for the new season..gotta say that lighting,spacing and general movement of Live is very very close to real life NBA...GREAT STUFFMy All-time Favourite players is order:

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

yea, the off-ball movement and rebounding look life like so I have thought that. But there are some awkward things in live, the ball handler doesn't look life like to me.Comment

The only game that looked like real footage at time to me so far was 2k9 from the broadcast angles when the quarters or the game ends. Like when you view the signature highlights, the camera work is phenomenal. Looks just like real footage.http://twitter.com/sageinfinite

Relax my guy. We can see that they improved the game, but don't get too jiggly. NBA 2k9 had all of these same moves. It looks like the only move that actually breaks down your opponent is the behind the back move. I have seen that 20 times in these videos that they have been showing. This same animation was in Live 09 (just a little different).......and it was over-used.Comment

I have watched clips of stuff online and said, "Wow, that looked like real life" and I feel I could fool some people into thinking it is for a minute. But to watch a real game and do the reverse? LOL, not so much.Comment
