I love this, too! Very realistic... gone are the days of helping out and altering a shot, while at the same time being able to secure the defensive rebound on the other side of the basket.

Rebounding is one of the best aspects of the game, in my opinion, although it seems like many are having trouble with the box-out controls.

Finally found some of you who actually think rebounding in Live 10 is a strong aspect of the game.

As Wiffyjustus already stated, positioning is key. You won't be able to be playing the ball handler at the perimeter and hurry to switch to a big man to try and secure a rebound after a shot goes up.

You gotta put your mind to it and decide that you'll try to affect the outcome of the game by cleaning the glass. It's just an outstanding feeling to go up and secure a board with Gasol and Howard (and Odom as well). So rewarding.

I feel the same way about blocking shots, another aspect of the game that has received some criticism.

Actually, looking at some of the player models (Derek Fisher a perfect example), compared to 2k, it actually has some room for improvement. A lot of the guys Live absolutely nailed, but I feel like Fisher looks better in 2k9 than he does in Live right now.

Is your brother kidding? The player models could DEFINITELY use improvement, mostly with facial likenesses. Few of the players actually look like themselves.

I think not just the player models, but the overall visuals in Live are superior than 2K's as well.

Wich is not the same thing as saying the whole game is better...

Luke Walton on the bench looks pretty bad...I'd prefer to see the same level of detail throughout the game...not just stars...But overall the detail in this game is 2nd to none...They have player models that are spot on and rival Fight Night Rd 4 detail

I agree. They even brought the lead lightning artist from FN4 to work in Live 10 so your observation is on point.

And I also agree that not every player received the same treatment. 2K is more consistent throughout this process since even less known players have their tatoos and stuff.

And since we are talking about visuals, it's appropriate to say that Live 10's sneakers presents an astonishing level of details. Very nice to see that part of the culture of the game re-created with such attention.

My favorite part of the game is this.

I love how you cant do the same stuff with Vince that you can with Kobe..well you can try...you just wont be as effective because of the big difference in thier speed and quickness/agility and ball handling.

The game truly seperates and indiviualizes each player

to add on to that, i cant just take a guy liek pietrus and force my way to the basket or move around with him at all with the ball un-realistically...the game really rewards you for playing to each players strengths

im seriously mesmerized by this game man...

I'm not laying it on thick here but I have never , ever, played a demo fo a game so much in my entire life...

The words Rematch are permantely etched in my brain
